To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland.
The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that there has been and will continue to be signficant residential growth on the southern Moreton Bay Islands. Whilst the new station at Redland Bay will improve the Police response there is still concerns about response times from the mainland.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to investigate stationing Police on the Southern Bay Islands.
