Functions of the Committee

The Youth Justice Reform Select Committee of the 57th Parliament was established by the Queensland Legislative Assembly on 12 October 2023 as a select committee to examine:

  1. ongoing reforms to the youth justice system; and
  2. support for victims of crime

Call for Submissions

The committee invites written submissions from all interested parties addressing any aspect of the terms of reference.

The committee is calling for submissions from key stakeholders, including victims of crime, people with lived experience of the youth justice system, service providers, experts and practitioners working in the field.
