The Smart Jobs and Careers website offers job seekers and applicants the facility to apply for vacancies online and track the progress of their application. It also offers the ability to maintain your personal details of registration and withdraw applications online.

Applicants are encouraged to read the position description and the Information Package for Applicants which are issued for each vacancy and will be located on the Smart Jobs and Careers web site.

Casual Parliamentary Attendants

Parliamentary Attendants perform a range of duties within the complex and in particular conduct public and school tours of the complex. Other activities may include reception duties and working within the Parliamentary Chamber when parliament is sitting.

Our casual Parliamentary Attendants generally work between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday and require a level of flexibility in relation to their working hours.

Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Blue Card under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 2000 (Qld).

We accept applications for casual Parliamentary Attendants at any time.
