TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of residents of Queensland, draws to the attention of the House that residents of Slade Point, Mackay, have not had access to a formalised boat ramp for the past 40 years or more and the two informal ramps in the last 12 months have been blocked by rocks or a chain.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to provide funding for a formalised boat ramp to be built at Seagull Street Slade Point as soon as possible.
