TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that there are currently no safe crossings on Kamerunga Road despite the presence of a tourism facility, a large school, shopping precincts and residents, along with an eight kilometre cycleway.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to acknowledge the urgent need to fund installation of three refuges in the proximity of 1) Freshwater Train Station; 2) Freshwater State School and; 3) Stratford Village.
