TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the current state of the southern section of the Pacific Motorway (M1) from Varsity Lakes to Tugun which is continually congested with daily traffic delays costing local families and businesses significantly.


Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to ensure that the M1 from Varsity Lakes to Tugun is included in current funding discussions to upgrade this major road infrastructure and to provide a business case to obtain firm costings for this section.
