TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need for construction of a new hall at the Bounty Boulevard State School in the suburb of North Lakes to service this growing school with over 1,200 students and local community groups. North Lakes is one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland and the school has grown rapidly since its 2009 opening.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to direct the Department of Education and Training to construct a new hall on the school site in the coming 2016-17 budget year and specify a date by which construction must commence.
