TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that due to a 20% increase in vehicle registration, as pensioners we will find it extremely difficult to be able to continue having our car on the road and as we live in a rural area, that will mean we would have to move to an area that has good public transport.Your petitioners therefore request the House to review the vehicle registration increase to be less than 20%.
