TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
We the undersigned believe that major public assets owned by the State of Queensland should not be sold without the people of Queensland having the opportunity to voice their opinion by casting their vote. We support a balanced budget but do not want to see major Queensland public assets denied to future generations without the electorate deciding that they should be sold. We urge the Bligh Government to either retain the major public assets or call an election so that the public can have their say.
