TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of the electors of the Division of Redcliffe draws to the attention of the House to the call for an artificial reef placement off the coast of Redcliffe, as given provision by the Moreton Bay Marine Park Review 2008. Your petitioners therefore request the House to 'urge the Minister for Sustainability, Climate Change and Innovation, the Honourable Andrew McNamara MP, to direct the environmental Protection Agency and Queensland Parks and Wildlife to establish an artificial reef, off the coast of the Redcliffe Peninsula'.
