Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House that this Courthouse, built in 1935 was opened as a community run Art Gallery and Cafe on 17 December 2003. The building is quintessentially the only intact, in original condition and situation, open to the public on the Gin Gin Queensland main street.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take all action necessary to retain and not move or demolish the Historically Listed Courthouse building in original condition and situation on Gin Gin Queensland main street, Highway One.
