TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House: The township of Kooralbyn has only one main access road. This poses a major risk in the event of an emergency as accessibility is extremely limited. The town is also suffering economic hardship due to the closing of the Kooralbyn Resort and an access point from Boonah will assist in tourism and local business.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the house to create a seven kilometre connection road between the townships of Boonah and Kooralbyn.
