TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House that in the first two years of COVID, Queensland had 4,322 illnesses and seven deaths. Since Christmas 2021, we have had an extra 1,383,682 people sick and 1,403 more dead. We now have masks rules on public transport that very few follow, we have plague ships back in our harbours and we have aged care facilities not using RATs, not using masks and no COVID hygiene.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to have the Department of Health restore whatever practices and rules that were in place for the first two years of COVID so that Queensland doesn’t lead the world in illness and deaths per million people.
