Government response to Report No. 1: Inquiry into the Queensland Parliament Video Broadcast System - May 2008
about the inquiry
The broadcasting of parliament was an e-democracy initiative that arose out of the Beattie government’s 2001 election platform, ‘Restoring Integrity: the Beattie Good Government Plan for Queensland’.
The Queensland Parliament established the all-party Broadcast of Parliament Select Committee on 14 February 2008 following media criticism of the Parliament’s broadcasting system implemented in June 2007.
