TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Electors of the Division of Clayfield draws to the attention of the House the recent crime in the Clayfield Electorate as demonstrated by statistics from the "myPolice North Brisbane" website.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to:
1) increase resources for Police in the Hendra QPS Division to ensure the safety and security of citizens and
2) review the Youth Justice Act 1992 to provide stricter bail laws for youth offenders and appropriate deterrence for offenders, particularly young offenders.
