TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that every State
and Territory, except Queensland and the Northern Territory allow ferrets
to be owned as pets.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to amend the Land
Protection (Pest & Stock Route Management) Act to allow ferrets to be
kept in Queensland as pets.
