The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the difficulty experienced by residents of the Burpengary Pine village mobile home park in accessing public transport. There is a bus stop on the northbound side of Morayfield Road, but not on the southbound side, which makes it difficult for residents who are either traveling southbound public transport or returning from the north.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to investigate the feasibility of a southbound bus stop and take action to install one. Further, your petitioners request that appropriate pedestrian facilities be installed near the entrance to the village so that residents are able to safely access a southbound bus stop. Such pedestrian facility may include a concrete refuge.
