The petition of the electors of the Division of Mirani draws to the attention of the House to address concerns of flooding caused by the discharging of water from Kinchant Dam by Sunwater.  This causes residents to be unable to attend work and school.  It also hinders emergency services from attending any needs of the residents and members of the general public using facilities at Kinchant Dam. Waste removal and mail deliveries are also delayed.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to look at the options of raising the height and lengthening of Antonis crossing on Kinchant Dam Road (Eton North) due to the releasing of water from Kinchant Dam by Sunwater and natural rain fall.
