The petition of the residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the safety issues at the Beaver Rock Road Boat Ramp located on the Mary River at Maryborough.  The boat ramp is narrow and frequently covered with river silt up to 600mm deep, making it hazardous to launch and retrieve boats.  The boat ramp is used by both commercial and recreational fishers.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to take all necessary steps to have the boat ramp extended and modified to make it safe.
