Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House this parliament has seen an increase in MPs and ministers blocking people on social media and some even refusing to answer emails. The 21st century has brought in a world where emails and social media are the norm for people to communicate. As voters we deserve the right to an answer from our MPs no matter how we ask.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to instruct MPs and in particular ministers to stop blocking voters on social media and to resume answering all emails.
