TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House that Queensland has declared the age of criminal responsibility to be ten years old. Federal parliament has declared children are children until they are 16 years old as mentioned in the social media age of accessibility laws. Kids are kids and we need one age to determine when a kid is a kid.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to change the age of criminal responsibility to match the Federal social media age of 16.
