TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the unfair exclusion of regulated passenger transport vehicles from bus lanes and transit lanes, which is causing undue delays in the provision of public transportation services.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to amend the Transport Operations (Road Use Management--Road Rules), REG 154 bus lanes and REG 156 transit lanes to include all signed and regulated public passenger services, including booked hire.
