TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the wrong decision to remove the Xavier children with disabilities from our college Whites Hill State College and send them to Mt Gravatt West Special School.
Your petitioners therefore request the house to overturn the Xavier decision and allow the students to stay at our school – their school. We have enough room for their new building and they belong here.
