Investigation

The Queensland Parliamentary Health, Communities, Disability Services and Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Committee conducted an investigation into matters at the Earle Haven aged care facility as part of the Inquiry into aged care, end-of-life and palliative care and voluntary assisted dying.

In particular, the committee investigated the closure of the facility in Nerang (formerly known as Orchid House and Hibiscus House) and the quality and safety of care provided to the former residents.
