Portfolio Area Briefings
OVERVIEW
The committee requests briefings from Departments and agencies within its area of portfolio responsibility, and other relevant organisations. The briefings contribute to the committee’s knowledge of the portfolio areas for which it is responsible, including public accounts and public works matters.
The committee has responsibility for the portfolio areas:
- Health, Mental Health, Ambulance Services and Women
- Agricultural Industry Development, Fisheries and Rural Communities
- Environment, Great Barrier Reef, Science and Innovation
