Committee meetings

Section 302A of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 provides that meetings of the committee must be held in public, unless the committee decides that a meeting or part of a meeting must be held in private to prevent the disclosure of:

• confidential information, or information the disclosure of which would be contrary to the public interest
• information about a complaint about corrupt conduct dealt with, or being dealt with, by the Crime and Corruption Commission
• information about an investigation or operation conducted, or being conducted, by the Crime and Corruption Commission in the performance of its crime function, corruption functions or intelligence functions.

The committee’s public meetings are transcribed by Hansard reporters and are livestreamed on Parliament.TV, where the archive versions of meeting broadcasts are also available for viewing. 

Ahead of each public meeting, the committee typically publishes a public agenda for those proceedings.
