North Queensland gold rush at Croydon, 1885; Sentenced to prison on charges of bankruptcy and concealing assets, 1884. Released soon after. Collapsed and died on the road from Normanton to Croyden. Buried near the roadside. Death reported in The Brisbane Courier on 3 Mar 1886 (p.3)
