The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the massive over development envisaged by the Toondah Harbour Priority Development Area Proposed Development Scheme, dated January 2014.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to call on the State Government and Redland City Council to withdraw the proposed fast track development and to review the long-term enhancement of the area in a considered and careful manner including:

• limitations on high rise to be consistent with the existing adjacent area
• an embargo on any loss of the existing area of GJ Walter Park and
• preservation of the historic and unique marine environment of Moreton Bay which is well documented.
