TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of Tin Can Bay, Queensland, in the electorate of Gympie, draws to the attention of the House that I/We the undersigned oppose the development of the Snapper Creek Foreshore adjacent to the upstream side of the Tin Can Bay Marina. Visitors and residents alike have been enjoying this parcel of land for many years, and it's public, recreational access is about to be denied. We wish to see this area maintained for public use.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to take action in order for this area to remain a public park reserve.
