The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that every State and Territory, except Queensland and the Northern Territory allow ferrets to be owned as pets.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to amend the Land Protection (Pest and Stock Route Management) Act to allow ferrets to be kept in Queensland as pets.
