The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws the attention of the House to the proposed route of the South East Queensland Water Grid Northern Pipeline Interconnector Stage Two causing disturbance to and loss of value of private, industrial, residential, and business properties, and loss, disruption, and disturbance to Nambour sporting facilities, and Suncoast Church and College at Woombye. Your petitioners therefore request the House to save taxpayers' money by re routing the pipeline wherever possible adjacent to the Bruce Highway and roadways, and in consultation with property owners, and not using power supply easements.
