TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws the attention of the House to the non-renewal of the employment contract of Michelle Monsour as Chief Executive Officer of the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, a property that through deed of gift belongs to all Queenslanders. The petitioners request the House immediately intervene and request the National Trust of Queensland and the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Board to renew the contract of Michelle Monsour in the interest of the future of the Sanctuary and tourism on the Gold Coast.
