The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to the proposed route of the South East Queensland Water Grid Northern Pipeline Inter-connector Stage Two causing disturbance to and loss of value of private, industrial, residential and business properties and loss, disruption and disturbance to Yandina sporting facilities. Your petitioners therefore request the House to save taxpayers money by rerouting the pipeline wherever possible adjacent to the M1 highway and roadways and in consultation with property owners and not using power supply easements.
