TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of residents of the State of Queensland or draws to the attention of the House the lack of facilities for car enthusiasts to meet, display and operate performance vehicles in the Gold Coast area, forcing enthusiasts to use the Broadwater carpark and other venues around the Gold Coast. Your petitioners therefore request the House to fund the construction of a facility that will allow car enthusiasts to meet, display and operate performance vehicles without causing inconvenience to members of the public.
