Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the danger to residents in the Miami / North Burleigh area whose liveable amenity is jeopardised due to existing regulations regarding placement of troubled members of the community in the public housing system within short-term and long-term accommodation in the Miami / North Burleigh residential area.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to urgently review the existing conditions of placement of identified troubled tenants to make sure they are located in supervised appropriate accommodation to ameliorate their opportunity to cause further pain for themselves and the community at large wherein they reside.
