TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that Queensland's youth justice system has failed to preserve the public's right to safety, while its laws have abandoned the 'rule of law' principles and traditions that this Nation was built on. Today the cries for justice from victims and their families are lost in a maelstrom of 'woke' culture posturing and identity politics. Calls from the public for order to be maintained and laws enforced routinely fall on deaf ears. Queenslanders have lost faith in their justice system.

Your petitioner’s therefore, request the House to:

  • revise and reform the youth justice legislation/system to better reflect the needs and expectations of the public.
  • end the secrecy and suppression of free speech around this issue. Frontline workers know the problems and know what works but they are not allowed to speak.
  • conduct an independent and 100% anonymous survey of our frontline workers and ensure the results are made public without any of the usual censorship by government.
  • act in a bipartisan manner to defend truth, save this generation, protect victims of crime, preserve public safety and unite the whole community.
