TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Electors of Mirani draws to the attention of the House the degradation of the section of Anzac Avenue within the Marian township between Marian Eton Road and David Price Way/Marian Hampden Road.

This section of road serves as a designated over-dimension route servicing the Bowen Basin as well as local Sugar, Timber and Tourism businesses

The road surface of Anzac Ave has experienced significant degradation caused by these extraordinarily heavy loads, and this section presents as a safety risk especially in adverse weather.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all within its power to commence rehabilitation upgrade works on Anzac Avenue in Marian, as a matter of urgency.
