Queensland Residents draws to the attention of the House: The site has been vacant and unused since 2012. The residents of this area desperately need access to this local community meeting space, with attached parkland, for the support of and general well-being of this local community.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to: That the site be gifted to the City of Gold Coast, the way Kangaroo Point TAFE was gifted to the City of Brisbane, for redevelopment of community service facilities and recreational reserve.
