The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that we the undersigned disagree with the State Government and the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads decision to proceed with the Yorkeys Knob Boat Ramp project without the support of the vast majority of Community Members as this project will negatively and adversely impact on the liveability of our community as a whole.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to instruct its elected Member for Barron River, the Right Honourable Mr Craig Crawford MP to represent, act on and adhere to the wishes of the community of Yorkeys Knob QLD 4878 and direct the Minister for Transport and Main Roads and the Right Honourable Mr Craig Crawford MP to publicly and permanently terminate the Yorkeys Knob Boat Ramp project with immediate effect.
