TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that the long-standing Rosella Store and the adjacent parklands (which contain matters of indigenous significance) face an uncertain future on account of proposals to upgrade the Bruce Highway.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to seek guidance from stakeholding agencies on expected project timeframes and whether alternative routes can be implemented to avoid destroying the character of the Rosella community.
