The petition of Electors of the Division of Maryborough draws to the attention of the House students of Howard, Torbanlea, Pacific Haven and Burrum Town reside within the one community effectively split three ways within the School Catchment Zones creating unreasonable hardship for some families due to transportation costs.

Your petitioners, therefore, respectfully request the House to restructure the School Catchment Zones and school transportation arrangements effecting this community to ensure an equitable arrangement can be achieved.
