TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of electors of Pumicestone draws to the attention of the House the lack of a bike path on a main thoroughfare to a school.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to provide a bike path from the roundabout on Beachmere Road to Newman Road. This bike path will be essential for the safety of local children attending the new Steiner school which will be opening in October. We ask that this be looked at as a matter of some urgency.
