Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the urgent need to construct a new Police Hub in the fastest growing region in Queensland. Having seen the construction of ten new schools in ten years, with two additional new schools opening in the next two years, it is clear the boom in population demands the need of a new Police Hub and an additional 35 police officers, in the Northern Gold Coast. It is therefore essential in that, in order to adequately protect this fast-growing community and for the provision of services to the residents of the Coomera electorate, for a Police Hub to be built in the Ormeau/Pimpama region and manned by the provision of 35 additional police officers.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to ensure planning and construction of a Police Hub in the Ormeau/Pimpama region occurs and the provision of 35 additional police officers in the region.
