TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that the rural townships of Kilkivan and Goomeri, in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service District, do not have the services of a Community Health Nurse. Both townships have a significant number of community members who are 50 years or older who would benefit from the services of a Community Health Nurse.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to re-introduce the services of a Community Health Nurse to visit the townships of Kilkivan and Goomeri on a fortnightly or monthly basis.
