TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the considerable population growth in Warner in recent years which has created a traffic bottleneck at the Linkfield Road/Telegraph Road overpass. We note the recent duplications to the Brisbane City controlled Telegraph Road however this has not addressed the bottleneck on the Moreton Bay Council side of Gympie Arterial Road. A duplication or upgrade of this overpass is overdue and now with plans for further development we believe that improvements are urgently needed to this vital piece of transport infrastructure.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to urgently implement plans for a duplication or upgrade to the Linkfield/Telegraph Road overpass to meet growing population in the Warner/Eatons Hill area.
