TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that despite the Mackay-Whitsunday region's proud record of hosting NRL games, and international fixtures, our region has been snubbed when it comes to staging NRL games in Mackay in recent years.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to take all necessary steps to encourage the NRL and its clubs to bring an annual NRL game to BB Print Stadium in Mackay, commencing from 2019.
