TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House our objection against the proposed development of a Waste Water Treatment Facility in Cedar Grove.
Concerns held but not limited to:
- Health concerns
- Increased road traffic
- Localised smell from plant
- Location and proposal for pipes to cross the flood-prone Logan River
- Rates rises for services residents are unable to utilise
- Environmental concerns
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to act now to cease development of the proposed waste water treatment plant in Cedar Grove.
