TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the increase in wildlife fatalities at Tallebudgera and the dangerous road conditions. Tallebudgera Connection Road is narrow and winding in several sections, has shoulders which are either narrow or non-existent, and some homes have concealed driveways. It is used by a growing number of cyclists.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to decrease the speed limit on Tallebudgera Connection Road to 50kph between 5pm and 5am and to 60kph during all other times to minimise the fatalities and injuries caused to road users, pedestrians and wildlife.
