Queensland residents, draws to the attention of the House that we petition for a safe drop off zone and car park for Banksia Beach State School.  There is inherent safety concerns for the students. The current car park is totally inadequate for the demand, this results in massive congestion on Sunderland Drive, Banksia Beach.  This is the only access to Banksia Beach and White Patch, directly affecting 6,000 residents.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take urgent action to achieve this long overdue outcome for the Banksia Beach State School staff, students, parents and surrounding residents.
