TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the urgent need for an upgrade of Exit 41, both north bound and south bound, including slip lanes to allow traffic to "slip" back on to the service roads, that don't require them to go through the roundabouts. Congestion occurs every afternoon in peak periods and regularly in the morning at Exit 41 and is a serious safety issue.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to ensure the State Government undertakes improvements to the operation of this dangerous interchange as a matter of upmost urgency, before lives are lost.
